Can Chelsea continue to impress on their travels with victory over Brighton? Will Wolves halt Watford’s revival at Vicarage Road? Can Sheff Utd end Liverpool’s unbeaten run?

Here are the best bets for this week’s English Premier League fixtures.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Chelsea – 01/01/20

Brighton come into this game in fourteenth place after ending a winless run of four games by beating Bournemouth last time out. Still, the Seagulls are 12 points behind fourth-place Chelsea. The Blues came from behind to beat Arsenal in their previous game, and I’m backing them to record back-to-back victories. Chelsea have been far better on the road this season, picking up the majority of their points from away games under Frank Lampard. The Blues’ defensive record isn’t great, so I expect both teams to score here. However, Chelsea should have the quality to outscore Brighton.

Pick: Chelsea to Win and Both Teams to Score – 3.37

Watford vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers – 01/01/20

Under new manager Nigel Pearson, Watford are enjoying a revival. The Hornets are unbeaten in their last three games – winning two and drawing one. This run has seen Watford moved off the bottom of the Premier League. Wolves are currently seventh, but Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have performed exceptionally well in their previous two games – beating Manchester City and narrowly losing to Liverpool. Wolves are the favorites for this game, but Watford are going to make it difficult for the away side. For that reason, I can see this matchup ending in a draw.

Pick: The Draw – 3.30

Liverpool vs. Sheffield United – 01/02/20

Liverpool’s remarkable run continues. The Reds have now opened up a 13-point lead at the top of the table and they still have a game in hand over their main title rivals. On the other hand, Sheff Utd are eighth in the standings – six points behind the top-four. The Blades’ defensive efforts have been outstanding so far this season. Only Liverpool have conceded fewer goals than Chris Wilders’ side in the top-flight in 2019/20, so I don’t think we’ll see too many goals in this game. Still, I can’t see Liverpool losing, but the home win is only at 1.20. By adding the under 3.5 goals into the mix, your odds will be significantly enhanced.

Pick: Liverpool to Win and Under 3.5 Goals – 1.99
