In the English Premier League, Everton are set to host Arsenal at Goodison Park in Liverpool.

In their previous outing, Everton played away from home at Manchester United. It was a decent match for the Toffees which finished as a 1-1 draw. Everton were leading for a long portion of the match but the team conceded in the 77th minute which resulted in the points being shared. It has been a strong few weeks for Everton as the team defeated Chelsea and got a point against Manchester United. The fixtures have been tough on Everton as they have a run of difficult matches but the Toffees should be confident in their ability to get a result from this fixture.

On the other side of the coin, it has been tough for Arsenal and the players are looking to be extremely low on confidence. In their previous Premier League fixture, Arsenal were defeated 3-0 at home by Manchester City. While the result was expected for Arsenal, the manner of defeat would have been disappointing for the team. Arsenal only had 1 shot on target in the entire match and had no chances to score. The defense was weak from Arsenal as they caused Manchester City no problems. Things are looking poor for Arsenal and I see them struggling away from home at Goodison Park.

Everton and Arsenal last played each other in April. The match was played at Goodison Park with Everton winning 1-0. Everton took the lead in the 10th minute and were good enough to secure the 3 points.

Looking at all the information, I am going to pick Everton to win this match. Everton have had a good few weeks and they have the advantage of playing at home. Arsenal are struggling and I don’t see the Gunners having enough confidence or quality to turn things around away from home. Everton should get all the points at home.
