Probably the game of the weekend in the Barclays Premier League will see Manchester City travel to Goodison Park to take on a rejuvenated Everton. Manchester City come into this game perfect with two 3-0 wins in their opening games and a really impressive performance last weekend as they took down the Champions Chelsea. Sergio Aguero started last week and could have had himself three or more goals if it hadnt been for the brilliance of the Chelsea keeper. David Silva and Ya Ya Toure have had impressive starts the season and Manchester City look like the leading lights in the race for the Premier League at this early stage. City have added significant strength to their squad with Raheem Sterling, Otamendi and the impending transfer of Kevin DE Bruyne there is no doubt that Manchester City have addressed their problems from last season but this will be a big test as they face an Everton team who are looking to make up for a terrible season last year.
Last season Everton were terrible, the big money tag attached to Lukaku seemed to distract the Belgian striker but he has started this season very well and so have his Everton team mates. With four points from a possible six this is a side that look very capable of challenging the top four sides in the league and at home in Goodison Park the Toffees are going to give their all here. Roberto Martinez side play attractive football and with Coleman, Lukaku, Barkley, Cleverly and McCarthy there is alot of young talent here. Gareth Barry and Kon bring experience and Barry has always seemed to raise his game against his former club City.
This one is very tough to call but Everton have always done well against Manchester City and have an impressive head to head winning three of the last five here at Goodison against City and only losing once. I think Everton are worth taking on the handicap tomorrow and that will be the play I am taking.
