Everton vs Stoke City 12/28/2015 Premier League Preview, Odds & Predictions

One of the games of the week in the Premier League will see Everton host the red hot Stoke City at Goodison Park. Everton come into this game off the back of a steal away to Newcastle, the Toffees scored a late late winner at Newcastle on Saturday night in a game that they dominated but couldnt score only for Tom Cleverly to head in the winner two minutes into injury time. Everton have been excellent this season with just one loss in their last ten games. Everton have a sensational front three with Barkley, Lukaku and Deulofeu brilliantly tearing teams apart this season. Everton's midfield have been rock solid too with Barry, Cleverly and Mccarthy all excelling. I think Everton manager Roberto Martinez will look at this game as a real chance to get a win and move themselves into the picture for the top four and a place in the Champions League. This is a tough game against a good Stoke team and Goodison Park should be rocking for this one.

Stoke City come into this game off the back of a brilliant performance at home where they completely dominated against Manchester United and won the game 2-0. That was Stoke's second 2-0 win at home against a Manchester club after beating City earlier this season. Stoke have been rock solid this year and Mark Hughes side could leap frog Everton in the table with a win here, in fact Stoke could be in the top six if they win here and results go their way. This is a really good attack minded team with Bojan, Arnautovic, Shaqiri and Affelay have all been exceptional this season and the Potters are going to go to Everton in confident mood and thinking they can get the win here.

This one is tough to handicap but I have to again say that Stoke are overpriced here While Everton are good at home Leicester and Manchester United have gone here and won and I think Stoke can probably do likewise. For me though I am going to take both teams to score here in what should be one of the bets of the day.
