In the UEFA Champions League semifinal, Mo Salah and his Liverpool team will travel to Camp Nou to face Leo Messi and FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona have been in emphatic form over the past few and the team will enter this match with the confidence of knowing that they have already on the La Liga title. In their previous match, FC Barcelona played against Levante in a match which they won 1-0. Leo Messi was the star performer for FC Barcelona as the Argentine superstar scored the only goal of the match. Barcelona were exceptional during the previous round of the Champions League as they beat Manchester United 4-0 over two legs. Looking at current form, FC Barcelona are the favourites to win the Champions League.

On the other side of the coin, Liverpool have also been playing well as they beat Huddersfield Town in the Premier League. It was a dominant display by the Reds as they won 5-0. During the win, Liverpool controlled 71% of the ball and had 21 shots. Sadio Mane and Mo Salah were both exceptional as both players scored 2 goals each. Liverpool beat FC Porto in the previous round of the UEFA Champions League and it was an easy win as the outright result was 6-1 over 2 legs. Travelling to Camp Nou is a very tough task for any team and Liverpool will need to ensure they don’t suffer a big defeat so the tie is still alive for the leg at Anfield.

Looking at this match, I see FC Barcelona winning. Liverpool are a tremendous side but I don’t think they have enough quality to beat FC Barcelona at Camp Nou. Barcelona have not lost at home in La Liga this season and have an incredible record at Camp Nou. Furthermore, Leo Messi looks in outstanding form and the Argentine superstar is very tough to stop most of the time. With all that in mind, I see FC Barcelona taking the lead from this leg.

Pick:
FC Barcelona -133
