FC Bayern München: -1.5 (-122) / Hannover 96: 1.5 (+102)
Bayern is hosting Hannover in round 32 of German Bundesliga.
Bayern had a chance to get away from Borussia Dortmund by 4 points at the top of the standings last week thanks to Borussia losing at home, but Bayern blew it. In their last game against Nurnberg, Bayern was much better team with 67% ball possession, 6 shots on goal and 88% of correct passes, and after being one goal behind, Bayern managed to tie the game in 75th minute and were lucky to get a point only because Nurnberg missed a penalty shot in the last minute. Lewandowski is Bayern’s top goal scorer with 21 goals while Kimmich added 11 assists. Ribery and Neuer are injured while Rodriguez and Boateng are listed as questionable. This game is a must win for Bayern if they want to stay ahead of Borussia and coach Kovac is under a lot of pressure from both management and fans. Bayern has been struggling on the offensive end as of late and since their star goalkeeper Neuer is injured, Bayern is not as confident and consistent on the defensive end. Bayern is the best team in Germany and I believe that this fight for the title will be decided in the last game of the season.
Hannover is the worst team in Bundesliga and is on the last place in the standings with only 18 points and only 26 scored goals and 66 conceded goals. In their last game against Mainz, Hannover actually showed some signs of life and despite having only 39% of ball possession, 3 shots on goal and low 69% of correct passes have won this game 1-0. Weygandt is Hannover’s top goal scorer with only 6 goals while Haraguchi added 4 assists. Bazee, Hubers, Fllkrug, and Akpoguma are injured while Wood, Schwegler, and Muller are listed as questionable. Thomas Doll was signed as a Hannover’s head coach in January of this year with a task to try and save Hannover’s Bundesliga status but he failed and will most likely get fired at the end of the season. The best thing that can happen to Hannover is to get relegated, rebuild the team and add some players from their youth school and give them the opportunity to play in Bundesliga 2. Hannover has started this season really bad and hasn’t shown any signs of improvement throughout the course of the season.
When playing at home, Bayern hasn’t lost any of their last 11 games against Hannover, while Hannover hasn’t won a single away game this season. In the last 5 home games against Hannover, Bayern has scored 16 goals and because they need a win here, I’m not giving any chances to Hannover.
