Liverpool will travel to Portugal where they will face FC Porto in the second leg of their Champions League tie. Liverpool won the first leg at home and as a result, they are leading the tie 2-0.

Liverpool played in the Premier League over the weekend as they beat Chelsea at home. It was a massive win for the Reds as it was vital in ensuring they kept the fight for the Premier League title. During the win against Chelsea, Liverpool had 15 shots and 62% of the ball. Sadio Mane and Mo Salah both scored for Liverpool during the win. Liverpool are looking in exceptional form and the team will be very confident in their ability to hold a 2 goal lead away from home.

On the other side of the coin, FC Porto also won over the weekend as they beat their opponent’s 3-0 away from home. This is going to be a tough match for FC Porto as they are 2 goals down. It will be essential that FC Porto start the game well since an early goal will give them a good chance. It will also be important for FC Porto to not concede since an away goal for Liverpool will mean that FC Porto will have to score 4 goals.

In the first leg, Liverpool had 65% of the ball and 7 more shots.

FC Porto are a very exciting team and they will definitely cause Liverpool many problems at home. That being said, I see Liverpool winning this match. Liverpool are a very strong defensive team and they will have no issues with pressure since they have a big lead. Salah, Mane and Firmino have all been scoring goals so I am expecting Liverpool to find goals in this match also. Liverpool are the stronger side and I see them winning this match.
