Fortuna is welcoming Bayern Munich in round 29 of German Bundesliga.

Fortuna is a decent team who is currently holding 10thplace in the Bundesliga standings with 37 points, which is better than they expected before the season started. Fortuna scored 38 goals thus far and conceded 52 goals which make Fortuna one of the worst defensive teams in Bundesliga. In their last game against Hertha, Fortuna had only 41% ball possession but was able to create 5 dangerous chances, 7 shots on goal and was able to score 2 goals and win this game 1-2. This victory gave a huge boost to the team and Fortuna is now on a 2-game winning streak with 5 scored goals and only 2 conceded goals. Fortuna’s top goal scorer is Raman with 9 goals while Lukebakio added 8 goals. Zimmer. Drobny and Giesselmann are all injured and will not be playing in this game. Fortuna has been showing signs of steady improvement throughout the season and coach Funkel is doing an excellent job with the team he has but one thing he needs to fix is Fortuna’s defense who just can’t keep the ball out of their net and has conceded at least 1 goal in 8 out of last 10 matches.

Bayern is the best team in Germany and they showed us that last week when Bayern demolished Borussia Dortmund and it took them over the top of the Bundesliga standings. In that game Bayern was absolutely dominant with 58% ball possession, 10 shots on goal, 7 dangerous chances created and 88% of correct passes and have won that game 5-0. Bayern is a team that is the perfect mixture of experienced players like Hummels, Boateng, Muller, Ribery and Neuer, and young superstars like Coman, Sule, Kimmich, Gnarby, and Davies who are all some of the best players in the world in their positions. Earlier this week, on a Bayern’s practice, a fight between Lewandowski and Coman broke out and even though coach Kovac is saying it wasn’t anything serious, other sources are telling a different story. Lewandowski is one of the best strikers in the world and is Bayern’s top goal scorer with 21 goals while Kimmich added 10 assists. Only two injured players in Bayern are Robben who most likely will not play until the end of the season and Davies who is expected to return next week. Bayern is playing the best soccer in Germany with a lot of passes and plays through their wingers and by controlling the midfield which is Bayern’s strongest part of the team. There is a lot of rumors that coach Kovac will be fired at the end of the season, but if Bayern wins Bundesliga that will probably not happen.

These two teams have played 10 times so far with Bayern winning 8 games while 2 ended in a draw. There are usually a lot of goals scored when these two teams meet and I expect the same thing in this match with another great performance and victory from Bayern.

Over: 3.5 and Bayern to Win

Being from Croatia I was raised with soccer all around me and I loved to watch and play soccer ever since i was little kid, especially after Croatia won third place in 1998 World Cup in France. I watch and follow soccer on a daily basis and to get the oppurtunity to write about it is amazing.
