Nimes make the trip to fellow strugglers Strasbourg looking to move off the bottom of the table. Out-of-form Nantes welcome St-Etienne on Sunday, can the away side inflict a fourth-straight defeat on Nantes? Marseille and Lyon are also set to put on an exciting show. Let’s check out Ligue 1’s best bets this week.

Strasbourg vs. Nimes – 11/9/19

Strasbourg find themselves just above the relegation zone after winning only three of their 12 league games this term. They are the division’s lowest-scorers having found the back of the net seven times so far. Nimes are bottom of the table with one less point than Strasbourg. Nimes have also struggled for goals, scoring 10 and conceding 12. When you consider both team’s lack of goals at both ends of the pitch this season, under 2.5 goals seems like a sensible bet here.

Pick: Under 2.5 Goals – 1.60

Nantes vs. St-Etienne – 11/10/19

After getting off to a flying start this season, Nantes’ form has taken a turn for the worse. Despite sitting 3rd in the table, they have only managed to score nine goals this term and have lost their last three Ligue 1 matches without getting on the scoresheet. On the other hand, St-Etienne are a team on the up. They have won four of their last five games and are now just one point behind Nantes in the table. Nantes are the favorites for this game, but I think the bookies have got this one wrong. I’m backing St-Etienne's strong run to go on as Nantes continue to struggle.

Pick: St-Etienne to Win – 3.60

Marseille vs. Lyon – 11/10/19

Two of France’s heavyweights clash on Sunday, with neither side enjoying a particularly promising start to the 2019/20 campaign. Marseille are 4th in the table with a record of W5/D4/L3, while Lyon find themselves down in 10th with a record of W4/D4/L4. Both sides have been very inconsistent this season, so the bookmakers have found very little to separate the two teams. Marseille are the marginal favorites at 2.50, while Lyon aren’t far behind with odds of 2.63. Still, it’s tough to predict who will win this match, so both teams to score a 1.60 makes sense.

Pick: Both Teams to Score – 1.60
