Let’s find out as we take a look at the best bets for Ligue 1 Round 8.

Stade Reims vs. Dijon FCO – 9/28/19

Reims come into this match on the back of a stunning 2-0 win away at PSG. Despite registering just 27% possession, Reims managed 13 shots and ultimately took their chances. On the other hand, Dijon are the only team yet to win a game in the league this season, having drawn 2 and lost 5. Reims will be full of confidence after beating the champions in the previous round, but they are also the team that has been involved in the least goals in the division this term (scored 6, conceded 2). For that reason, a home win with under 3.5 goals looks likely here.

Pick: Stade Reims to Win and Under 3.5 Goals – 2.25

Angers vs. Amiens SC - 9/28/19

Angers are undoubtedly the surprise package in Ligue 1 this season. They sit level on 15 points with PSG at the top of the table after winning 5 of their opening 7 games. Amiens have only won 2 matches so far, while drawing 1 and losing 4. Only two teams have a worse defensive record than Amiens whereas Angers are the league’s top scorers with 15 goals to their name. I can see Angers continuing their excellent start to the season, and considering the two team’s contrasting goal differences, there is likely to be over 2.5 goals in the match.

Pick: Angers to Win and Over 2.5 Goals – 3.44

AS Monaco vs. Brest - 9/28/19

Monaco picked up their first win of the campaign by beating Nice 3-1 in the previous round. They had drawn 3 and lost 3 before their win over Nice, and I think this could kick start Monaco’s season. Brest are without a win in 4 matches and have drawn their last 3. Monaco clearly have the stronger squad, and after a poor start to the season, it was only a matter of time before they got their first win. I can see Monaco building on their previous win with another on Saturday. A home win is 1.44, but if Monaco come out firing, they could well with both halves.

Pick: AS Monaco to Win Half Time/Full Time – 2.30
