There are three Ligue 1 games coming up on Wednesday, all of which offer excellent betting opportunities. Rennes and Reims look set to secure big away wins, while Monaco have the potential to upset the odds when PSG come to town.

Let’s take a look at the best bets for the midweek matchups in the French top-flight.

Nimes vs. Rennes – 1/15/20

Nimes come into this game on a terrible run of results which has left the club winless in their last 13 league games. This dismal form has been Nimes drop into the relegation zone – three points off the bottom of the table. By contrast, Rennes have won five of their last six Ligue 1 matches and currently sit third. There are plenty of points and plenty of places between these two teams at the moment, so a Rennes win at 2.30 seems too good to miss. Nimes are the home team in this fixture, so Rennes’ odds are particularly tasty.

Pick: Rennes to Win – 2.30

Monaco vs. PSG – 1/15/20

Monaco and PSG played out a thrilling 3-3 draw last weekend and they go head-to-head again on Wednesday. PSG currently lead Marseille by five points at the top of the table, while Monaco are in eighth. Thomas Tuchel’s side are obviously the favorites, but Monaco proved they’ve got what it takes to match PSG in the previous meeting. A PSG win is at 1.44, but that doesn’t offer much value. Purely for the potential profit, I’m backing Monaco to win at 5.50. On their day, Monaco are capable of beating PSG, so they will be confident of claiming all three points on home soil.

Pick: Monaco to Win – 5.50

Amiens SC vs. Stade Reims – 1/15/20

Amiens find themselves third from bottom after failing to win any of their last six games in Ligue 1. In fact, Amiens have only managed to claim four victories in 19 league games this season. On the other hand, Reims have lost just one of their last seven league games and come into this game in far better form than Amiens. Reims also boast the best defensive record in the division having conceded 12 goals in 19 games. Reims’ away status in this matchup means the odds for a Reims win are significantly boosted.

Pick: Stade Reims to Win – 2.70
