In the English Premier League, Fulham will host Manchester City at Craven Cottage.
Fulham have struggled all season and their woes continued in their previous Premier League match as they were beaten at home by Liverpool. It was a disappointing performance by Fulham as they had only 37% of the ball and they allowed Liverpool to have 16 shots. The defence has been the biggest issue for Fulham this season as the team has already conceded 70 goals which is 11 more than any other team in the competition. Fulham are very close to securing their fate which looks like relegation. Fulham look low on confidence and it is hard to see them competing against the reigning champions.
On the other side of the coin, Manchester City won their last Premier League match as they beat Watford 3-1 at home. Since that match, Manchester City also played in the FA Cup where they beat Swansea away from home. The Sky Blues are playing exceptional football and Sergio Aguero has led the team very well as the Argentine striker is scoring tons of goals. As the situation currently stands, Manchester City will know the importance of winning every game since Liverpool is also very much in the title frame.
Manchester City and Fulham met earlier in the season at the Etihad Stadium where the Sky Blues won 3-0. Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and David Silva all scored for Manchester City in the win. Manchester City and Fulham also played this season in the League Cup where City won 2-0 at home.
Manchester City have already beaten Fulham twice this season and I see that trend continuing in this match. Fulham have looked awful all season while Manchester City have been incredible. Manchester City have the better team and I see them winning this match with some ease.
