The Bundesliga is wide open this season and there are just 2 two points separating the top 7 teams in the table.

This weekend, will anything come between Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bayer Leverkusen? Can Freiburg continue their impressive run against Union Berlin? Will Schalke overcome Hoffenheim?

Here are the best bets for Round 8 of the 2019/20 Bundesliga campaign.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bayer Leverkusen – 10/18/19

These two teams have been very evenly matched so far this season, and Leverkusen sit just 2 places above Frankfurt in the table. Bayern have claimed 4 wins while Eintracht have picked up 3. The hosts have scored just 1 goal fewer than the visitors, so this is set to be an extremely tight match. Leverkusen are the favorites at 2.30, and you can get a price of 2.80 for a home win. However, there has been very little between the two teams recently, so the draw at 3.75 is looking very tempting.

Pick: The Draw – 3.75

Union Berlin vs. SC Freiburg – 10/19/19

Freiburg have been one of the Bundesliga’s surprise packages this season. They currently sit 4th in the table, just 2 points off top spot. On the other hand, Union Berlin have made a disappointing start the season and have picked up just 1 win so far. They have also lost their last 4 matches, whereas Freiburg are unbeaten in that time. Remarkably, the bookies have made Union Berlin the slight favorites at 2.40. Still, given Freiburg’s excellent start to the season, an away win makes sense here.

Pick: SC Freiburg to Win – 2.70

Hoffenheim vs. Schalke 04 – 10/20/19

Schalke finally look like a team capable of challenging for the European places again. They have lost just 1 of their 7 league games this season and have won 4 of their last 5 matches. Only two teams have conceded fewer goals than Schalke in the Bundesliga this term and they have also managed to score at an average of 2 goals per game. As for Hoffenheim, they have managed just 2 wins from their opening 7 league games. Schalke are in fantastic form, while Hoffenheim have won only 1 of their last 5 league games. I’m backing the away team at 2.50.

Pick: Schalke 04 to Win – 2.50
