Soccer | Slovakia (1-1-1) vs Germany (2-1-0)

Germany vs Slovakia will be a rematch of a warm up game from just a few months ago which saw the World Cup champions lose. This will be a chance for the Germans to set the record straight and by doing so they can also progress to the quarter finals of this tournament.

Germany are a side that is filled with quality and we know this by their performances in the past few international tournaments. This game will test them though since their opposition are a side that is in form. Slovakia will have belief since they beat Germany not long ago and after getting results like a draw against England, confidence will be sky high. This should be a great came for these reasons and I think Germany will have a fight on their hands that they probably should win.

As far as the overall result is concerned for this game, I think Germany should win but it will be a close win such as 1-0 or in extra time. That makes betting an interesting prospect since the bookmakers have made Germany massive favorites and that it not a right assessment in my opinion. If you want to bet against Germany for this reason, it is an understandable play but perhaps not the safest. The bet I like in this game is the under 2.5 goals. Both teams are strong at the back and Germany have problems with an out and out strikers so a high scoring game becomes unlikely. The under 2.5 goals is paying well enough that we are flipping pretty much so I think this is a good bet. In addition to this, Slovakia with a handicap is a also an acceptable play, granted that it has a lot more risk involved with it.

Pick:
Under 2.5 Goals
