Germany vs Spain 23 March 2018: International Soccer Preview and Predictions

Soccer | International

The international break has started and that means that the national teams will play in an attempt to prepare for the World Cup later this year. A big game we will see will be between Germany and Spain which will involve some of the best players in the world.

Germany needs to sort out their best team leading into the World Cup. The striker position still needs a definite starter with the likes of Sandro Wagner and Timo Werner both competing for the same spot. Thomas Muller could possibly play as a striker but I expect him to play as an attacking midfielder. The defense is looking strong for Germany with the likes of Hummels, Boateng, and Howedes all in good form. The midfield will be led by Toni Kroos who is very talented but he will need help since many of the experienced players from 4 years ago are no longer playing.

Looking at Spain, this side needs to look at which team they want to take to the World Cup. The manager could choose a young side filled with the likes of Asensio or look at an experienced side filled with the likes of Iniesta. I expect Spain to experiment with their team greatly in this game and that will make this game very interesting to watch.

Taking everything into consideration, I am going to predict that this game will be won by Germany. The hosts have a more settled side out of the two teams and that should be enough to get them a win. We are getting a good enough price on this bet and due to that reason, we should wager on the outright result.
