Friday night action from the Bundesliga will see Hoffenheim play host to Hamburger. Hoffenheim have had a terrible start to the seasonw ith just six points from nine games they are firmly anchored to the bottom of the Bundesliga. Goals have been a major problem for Hoffenheim this season the summer addition of Vargas has struggled to settle in the Bundesliga but the Chilean striker has proven his quality and will come good in my opinion. Szalai , Schmid and Kuranyi will all provide a goalscorign threat for Hoffenheim but at the moment they need someone to step up to the mark and start to put the ball in the net.
Hamburger are in a much better position this year than last and have a squad that can compete this year within the league. Former Spurs midfielder Lewis Holtby is the key man in their midfield and he will provide the ammunition for striker Lasogga who has had a good start to his campaign with three goals in nine games. He looks more like the striker that scored thirteen in twenty two years ago that the striker who only scored four goals in twenty six games last season. Hamburger have lost three of their five away games this year and have struggled for clean sheets on the road but this is a good match up for them and I cant help but feel like they can get their third win away from home here at a very big price.
Not a huge play for me here given that the two teams are a little Jekyl and Hyde'ish but I am going to take Hamburger to get the win on the road at the huge price of 5/2.
