Huesca is set to host Barcelona in round 32 of Spanish LaLiga.
Huesca is flat out the worst team in LaLiga and hasn’t won any of their last 5 games with 13 conceded goals during this stretch. In their last game against Levante, Huesca was the weaker team with 45% ball possession, 4 shots on goal and a low 70% of correct passes but was able to score 2 goals as the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Huesca is last in LaLiga standings with 24 points and is 6 huge points away from the safe zone. Huesca’s top goal scorer is Avila with 8 goals, followed by Gomez who added 5 assists. Huesca is playing terrible soccer on both ends and has only 5 wins with 9 draws 17 losses and 55 conceded goals in 31 matches which makes Huesca one of the worst defensive teams in LaLiga. Akapo and Insua are both injured and will not be playing while Luisinho and Miramon are listed as questionable. Huesca doesn’t have the quality to stay in LaLiga and coach Francisco will most certainly get fired at the end of the season so the best thing for Huesca is to get relegated, hire a new coach and regroup in LaLiga 2 next season.
Barcelona is the best team in Spain and Europe at the moment and hasn’t lost any of their last 17 matches. In their last LaLiga match against Atletico Madrid, Barcelona was by far better team with 64% ball possession, 10 shots on goal, 91% of correct passes and was able to win 2-0. With this victory, Barcelona stayed at the top of LaLiga with 11 points ahead of Atletico Madrid and will most likely win another LaLiga title. Three days ago, Barcelona was playing first-leg quarterfinals match in Champions League against Manchester United and have won 0-1 which certainly gave a big boost to the entire team because Barcelona hasn’t qualified for semifinals in any of the last three seasons. Messi leads Barcelona with 33 goals and 12 assists in 29 matches but is expected to start this match on the bench and get some rest before the second leg of Champions League quarterfinals next week. Rafinha and Vermaelen are injured while Pique and Suarez are suspended because of yellow cards. Coach Valverde is doing a great job in rotating his players and Barcelona is playing excellent soccer on both ends and Valverde will probably decide to rest most of his star players including Busquets and Rakitic but Barcelona has enough quality and depth to face the worst team in LaLiga.
These two teams have played only 3 times and Barcelona has won all three games with 20 scored goals. In the match played in September last year, Barcelona have won 8-2 and even though I don’t expect the same amount of goals in this game, I still expect a lot of goals and for Barcelona to win and ensure the title.
