Derby County vs Hull City
|Date & Time||Friday November 27, 2015, 2:45 PM (EST)|
The Line: Hull City 7/5 Draw 12/5 Derby County 9/4
Friday night action from the English Championship will see leaders Hull City host fourth place Derby County at the KC Stadium. Hull City have had a great start to life in the Championship and Steve Bruce's side are among the favourites to come straight back up. Hull have a Premier League quality squad with Huddlestone, El Mohamaddy, Hernandez, Dawson and Meyler all quality footballers and making the difference at this level. Hernandez has been excellent this season and with seven goals is top scorer for the tigers. Hull have been in excellent form at home and have dropped just four points at home all season with two draws and six wins at home this season.
While Derby have also had an impressive start to the season and are only two points behind Hull in the league table. Tom Ince will start against his former club haveing spent half of last season on loan at Derby Ince made the move this summer and has been instrumental in everything good that Derby have done. Derby fell out of the playoff places last season after a terrible end to the season which probably cost Steve McClaren his job. But the team has picked itself up and the squad has definitely improved over the opening three months of the season. Derby are in a strong position right now and come into this game in great form having won nine of their last twelve with just one loss away to Nottingham Forrest over that time period. Weimann, Martin and Ince are a tough front three to play against and will create lots of chances here in what should be a marquee match up for the Championship.
Taking the overs here in a game that should be filled with attacking free flowing football. The Friday night Championship fixtures have not had a lot of goals in them recently with the last three finishing 1-0, I think that changes here on Friday with both sides possesing lots of attacking talent and both teams likely to press for the win here. Take the overs and cash an early weekend winner
