Hull City look to give themselves a fighting chance of survival in the Premier League when they host Liverpool at the KC Stadium on Tuesday evening. After a terrific 2-0 win in Crystal Palace at the weekend the Hull City tigers will be confident of repeating the win on Tuesday. Steve Bruce has his side well coached but of all the team in the bottom six Hull have by far the worst run in having to play Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United. With points at a premium tongiht's home game against Liverpool is a huge one and really one that Hull must take something from. N'Doye is the key man for hull with him scoring both goals in Hulls win at the weekend and being their main goal threat since Nika Jelavich got injured, Irish internation Robbie Brady will also be key as his set piece delivery and passing is instrumental for Hull's attack.
Liverpool come into this game seven points behind Manchester United in fourth and Brendan Rodgers side will be looking to close that gap to four. Liverpool were poor at the weekend with no cutting edge up front Mario Balotelli just doesnt look up to it at the moment, there is no doubting the Italians raw talent but he appears to only try on the big occasions although his work rate was noticably improved in the FA Cup game against Villa and he played alright against West Brom at the weekend. Gerrard, Henderson and Sterling need to provide more support to the front men with Couthino filling the gap between the top man and the midfield.
Tough one to call here. Personally I think Hull will get something from this game. Liverpool were so anaemic at the weekend that I couldnt take them here away from home, there is no doubt they have the better squad and more quality players but I think Hull's greater desire to win and stay in the league might just swing this game. Take Hull here.
