Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Inter Milan will host FC Barcelona at the San Siro for a match in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

It has been a very good few weeks for Barcelona as the likes of Coutinho and Suarez have found form in the absence of Leo Messi. Since their previous Champions League game, Barcelona have won all of their fixtures including a 5-1 win over Real Madrid to show that they are the best team in Spain. As it currently stands, Barcelona are top of La Liga and this Champions League group meaning that a win will ensure the Catalans are through to the knockout stage of the tournament. This will be a tougher match for Barcelona than the previous encounter against Inter Milan as the San Siro is a difficult place to visit.

On the other side of the coin, Inter Milan have also maintained their impressive form as they had a dominant win in their last match. Inter Milan beat Genoa 5-0 at home with most of the players having superb games. Inter Milan are in a good position to qualify but they will be desperate to win this match as they will not want to end up in a must-win match against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

The last time these two teams met, Barcelona won 2-0. It was a comfortable win for Barcelona as they maintained over 60% of the possession. I am expecting this match to be a much closer contest as Inter Milan are far stronger at home than away from home.

While Barcelona will be feeling confident heading into this match having recently beat Inter Milan, I see this match ending as a draw. Inter Milan are also a terrific side and I see them being good enough to get a point at home against Barcelona.
