Italian Serie A: Best Bets – Round 12 – Odds, Predictions, and Picks
Friday, November 8, 2019 at 12:19 PM (Italy)
Inter will be looking to keep pace with Juventus by getting the better of Verona this weekend. But can they do it without conceding a goal? High-flying Cagliari welcome Fiorentina, with the hosts searching for their third-straight league victory. Can Roma overcome Parma? Here are the best bets for Round 12.
Inter Milan vs. Hellas Verona – 11/9/19
Inter are unbeaten in their last four league games. Three wins and a draw have seen the Milan club stay within one point of Juventus at the top of the table. Inter are the second-highest scoring side in Serie A, while they also boast one of the best defensive records. Verona have actually conceded the joint-fewest goals in the division, but only three teams have scored fewer goals in Serie A. Given their lack of threat in attack, Verona should find it very difficult to score past Inter. The home side is the favorite at 1.30, but add a clean sheet into the mix and your odds will be significantly enhanced.
Pick: Inter Milan to Win and Keep a Clean Sheet – 2.12
Cagliari vs. Fiorentina – 11/10/19
Cagliari are one of the surprise packages in the Italian top-flight this season. They find themselves 6th in the table after winning six of their 11 matches so far. Their goal difference of +8 reflects their solidity at both ends of the pitch. Fiorentina got off to a slow start but they have climbed up to 8th following a good run of results. The away team is the favorite for this match at 2.40, while you can get odds of 2.88 for a Cagliari win. However, I think the draw at 3.30 is a great bet. There really isn’t much to separate the two teams right now.
Pick: The Draw – 3.30
Parma vs. Roma – 11/10/19
Parma have one just one of their last five league games and sit 10th in the table. On the other hand, Roma are unbeaten in their last six league outings and have won their last three. The club from the capital have only lost one of their 11 Serie A games this term. Parma have been far less consistent, their record of W4/D2/L5 has seen them score 16 goals and concede 15. I'm backing Roma to win this clash, but I think both teams are likely to score. 1.83 is already a decent price for the away win, but add both teams to score into this mix to boost your odds.
Pick: Roma to Win and Both Teams to Score – 3.38
