Italian Serie A: Best Bets – Round 15 – Odds, Predictions, and Picks

Atalanta will be looking to secure back-to-back victories when they face Verona on Saturday, but can they do it without conceding? I’m backing Ciro Immobile to continue his goalscoring run this weekend, while I think SPAL vs. Brescia could end all square. Here are the best bets for this week’s Serie A fixtures.
Atalanta vs. Hellas Verona – 12/7/19
Atalanta come into this game on the back of a convincing 3-0 victory over Brescia. Following a run of poor results, the Bergamo based outfit appear to be back to their best. Verona suffered their second defeat in three game last time out after losing 3-1 to Roma. Atalanta are the division’s top scorers, but they have also conceded a lot of goals. No team has conceded more goals than Atalanta in the top half of the table. The home side are the firm favorites at 1.29, but given their below par defensive record, adding the ‘both teams to score’ market into the mix makes sense, and it significantly enhances the odds.
Pick: Atalanta to Win and Both Teams to Score – 2.67
Lazio vs. Juventus – 12/7/19
Lazio have won their last six league games which has seen them move to within six points of Juventus. Only Atalanta have scored more goals than Lazio this season, while the Rome club’s defensive record is also strong. Juve surrendered top spot to Inter last weekend after a disappointing 2-2 draw with Sassuolo. Lazio striker Ciro Immobile is in the form of his life right now, so you’d be foolish to bet against him adding to his tally in Round 15. Immobile has only failed to score in two Serie A games this term and has netted 13 times in his last nine appearances. I’m surprised the bookies are offering such high odds for Immobile to score against Juventus.
Pick: Ciro Immobile to Score Anytime – 2.63
SPAL vs. Brescia – 12/8/19
SPAL host Brescia in a bottom-of-the-table clash on Sunday. Both sides have won just two of their league games this season, but Brescia have lost more matches, leaving them at the foot of the Serie A standings. It’s extremely difficult to pick a winner for this clash. Both teams are enduring dismal 2019/20 campaigns. Neither side is finding the back of the net on a regular basis, while they have each conceded far too many goals. Based on their current records, a draw seems highly likely here. The odds for a tie are very attractive.
Pick: The Draw – 3.25
