We are currently enjoying the most exciting and competitive Serie A campaign in years. Juventus, Inter and Lazio are all in the title race, while the relegation battle remains wide open.

This week, I have chosen to take a look at SPAL vs. Bologna, Fiorentina vs. Genoa and Inter Milan vs. Cagliari in an attempt to find the best value bets in the Italian top-flight.

SPAL vs. Bologna – 1/25/20

After spending the majority of the season at the bottom of the table, SPAL are now just one point inside the relegation zone following two wins in their last four games. SPAL beat Torino at the end of December before claiming a shock victory over Atalanta in the previous round. On the other hand, Bologna are without a win in three games and have slipped to twelfth in the table. Bologna have struggled recently, while SPAL appear to be on the up. Bologna are the favorites at 2.25, but I’m backing SPAL to continue their resurgence and claim all three points.

Pick: SPAL to Win – 3.00

Fiorentina vs. Genoa – 1/25/20

Fiorentina are another team that have picked up their game in recent weeks. The Florence outfit started the 2019/20 campaign poorly, but they have now lost just one of their previous six games in all competitions. Back-to-back league victories over SPAL and Napoli have seen Fiorentina climb up to thirteenth. By contrast, Genoa after bottom following one win in their last eleven league outings. Fiorentina are the in-form side coming into this matchup, and their home advantage only enhances their chances of a win. 1.67 is a great price.

Pick: Fiorentina to Win – 1.67

Inter Milan vs. Cagliari – 1/26/20

Only Lazio and Atalanta have scored more goals than Inter in the Italian top-flight this term. Antonio Conte’s men have averaged just over two goals per game so far, with Romelu Lukaku netting 14 and Lautaro Martinez scoring 10. Inter have only lost one of their 20 league games this season, while Cagliari are without a win in their last six league games. A run of four straight defeats was ended last time out by a 2-2 draw against Brescia, but I can’t see Cagliari taking anything away from the San Siro on Sunday. I think Inter will win this matchup with a big scoreline.

Pick: Inter Milan to Win and Over 2.5 Goals – 1.80

The pick in this article is the opinion of the writer, not a Sports Chat Place site consensus.
