Juventus face a tough test this weekend as they look to maintain their lead at the top of the table with a win against a tricky Verona side. Atalanta will also be hoping for an away win, while Napoli and Lecce look set to produce a high-scoring matchup.

Let’s get stuck into the best bets for Round 23 of the Serie A campaign.

Fiorentina vs. Atalanta – 2/8/20

It’s fair to say that Fiorentina are enduring a pretty wretched campaign. Six wins from 22 games mean the Florence outfit are fourteenth in the table and the team has struggled for goals all season. By contrast, Atalanta are the division’s highest scoring side by some distance and come into this game in fourth place. Atalanta may have stuttered a bit of late, but I still expect the away side to claim all three points in this matchup. Fiorentina have been woeful so far in 2019/20, while Atalanta are pushing for a Champions League place once again.

Pick: Atalanta to Win – 1.80

Hellas Verona vs. Juventus – 2/8/20

Verona held third-place Lazio to a goalless draw in their previous game, proving once again that they’re a tough team to beat this season. Verona may be ninth, but only three teams have conceded fewer goals in Serie A this term. Meanwhile, Juventus are three points clear at the top of the table and have only lost two of their 22 league games in 2019/20. Verona will be tough to break down on Saturday but I’m confident Juventus will come away with the win. A Juventus win is only at 1.44, so add the under 3.5 goals market into the mix to enhance your odds.

Pick: Juventus to Win and Under 3.5 Goals  2.08

Napoli vs. Leece – 2/9/20

Napoli are languishing in mid-table and their inconsistency is outlined by their record of W8-D6-L8. Gennaro Gattuso’s side have conceded far too many goals this season, but back-to-back victories in the league will have filled the team with fresh hope. On the other hand, Leece are sitting just outside the relegation zone with 19 points to their name. Leece have scored more goals than any of the bottom seven sides in the division but they also have the second-worst defensive record in Serie A. Given the respective goalscoring records of the two sides, both teams to score makes sense here.

Pick: Both Teams to Score – 1.80
