On Saturday night we have the game of the weekend in Serie A as Milan travel to Turin to take on Juventus. Milan are coming into this game in strong form with three wins in their last four although they did struggle last time out to break down a solid Atalanta team. Milan made some good signings in the off season with Luiz Adriano and Bacca coming in and both proving to be a good fit to Milan thus far. Mihajlovic is doing a good job making his team tough to beat and the former Sampdoria boss seems like a success thus far. Milan are definitely moving in the right direction and will be challenging for a Champions League place this season if they continue to improve and get back their star man from last season Menez.
The Champions came into this season with changes and the loss of Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal were felt throughout the early games of the season. Juve struggled against Roma and were poor in a number of losses but have won three of their last four and are moving back up the table. With a strong team including some big money summer signings Dybala, Mandzukic, Zaza its been a tough time for Allegri to get a settled side. Paul Pogba is among the best midfielders in Europe though and he has led the side extremely well under intense pressure. This is a team that is gearing up to push for a title challenge and even though they had a horrific start to the season they are only eight points back and will feel like it is not an unsurmountable lead.
Simply put here Milan are a good side on the up but Juventus have the quality throughout the field to hurt Milan especially through the midfield. I think Juventus are the better team here and with home advantage will get the win here. Juventus have some exceptional attacking players but are also solid defensively with long time captain Buffon a real leader among teams and will be up for this game against their great rivals.
