La Liga is always one of the most exciting leagues to watch and with the season half done, it is time to put in some bets for the end of the season. This league is always good value if you pick the right bets so here are my end of season predictions.
Pick 1: Real Madrid to win the league. This is the obvious bet but it is one where we can make some money if we want to. Los Blancos are quite a bit ahead to of the pack and with a few games in hand as well due to the Club World Cup. This has positioned them well and with the likes of Barcelona continuing to drop points, I think it is pretty obvious that we have to make this bet.
Pick 2: Cristiano Ronaldo to win the top goal scorer award. CR7 might not be the player he once was but he is still a massive threat in front of goals. The Portuguese superstar knows how to score and against weaker opposition, he has a habit of netting a large number of goals. This will be the case for him in La Liga. Building on that, the likes of Suarez, Messi and Neymar will take goals of each other while and injured Bales means more goals for CR7.
Pick 3: Oblak to win the golden glove. The Athletico Madrid keeper is one of the best in world and he is playing in one of the best teams in the world. The defense this side has includes the likes of Diego Godin, Fellipe Luiz and Giminez. Further building on the fact that Diego Simione is a very defensive minded coach, I see Oblak keeping the most clean sheets this season in La Liga and thus winning the golden glove award.
