LAFC vs Philadelphia Union - 6/30/18 MLS Soccer Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Philadelphia Union will be in action this weekend as they look towards their next game in the MLS. The Union will be traveling to California where they will be taking on LAFC at the Banc of California Stadium. Both teams are very talented and we should be able to witness a great game of soccer.

The Philadelphia Union had a massive win over the Vancouver Whitecaps in their last game and that victory will give the side tons of confidence as they head into this game. The away side is sitting midtable of the Eastern Conference and will know that some wins will propel them towards the top. This side has tons of talent and they will be optimistic about this game.
On the other side of the coin, LAFC are in great form. The home team are one of the best sides in the Western Conference and to maintain that position, they need to continue winning. This will be a tough game for Los Angeles FC because they will be without their main player, Carlos Vela, who is currently representing Mexico at the FIFA World Cup. While there are tons of replacements for Vela, it will be hard for LAFC to be as dominant as they have been in the past.

Taking everything into consideration, I am going to predict that Philadelphia Union wins this game. Without Carlos Vela, I don’t think that LAFC are good enough. We are getting a great price to wager on the away side winning and as a result, it is the bet I am suggesting. In addition to that, I think we should also bet on the under 2.5 goals. With Carlos Vela out, this will be a defensive game from LAFC which should result in only 1 or 2 goals.
