League leaders Leicester City will host Stoke City at the King Power Stadium with Leicester looking to take sole possession of top spot as they currently share the top of the table with Arsenal. Claudio Ranieri chose to rest his starters against Tottenham Hotspur midweek in the FA Cup, this is how well Leicester City are doing in the League. A team who's focus was survival last season and the start of this season were 5,000/1 to win the League are currently sitting at the top with Arsenal ahead of Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United. Leicester's goals have changed and the Champions League and qualification to same now appears on the horizon and a possibility. Leciester need Vardy and Mahrez to step up again and with the hard working Okazaki providing support up top this is a team that wont be found wanting in terms of work. Can Leicester beat an equally hard working Stoke City?
Mark Hughes has done a superb job with Stoke City who come into this game off the back of a 0-0 draw with Arsenal. Stoke have now taken ten points from Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United at the Britannia. Stoke have also been very tough to beat away from home with their loss to Arsenal being their only true loss as they were reduced to ten men in both of their other losses at Sunderland and West Brom. Stoke have a quality attacking side with Bojan, Arnautovic, Diouf and Walters along with Affelay and Shaqiri. Bojan was looking a little leggy in recent games and I think a rest may be in order for the former Barcelona man, but Diouf can come in and lead the line just as effectively. This is a really solid team and aptain Ryan Shawcross is having a season that coudl see him end up in the starting eleven for England next summer.
I think we have two teams that are very tough to beat and I really like the draw in this situation. I'm going to take the draw as I could see both teams cancelling each other out.
