Another cracking match up on St Stephens Day will see league leaders Leicester City travel to Anfield to take on Jurgen Klopp's new look Liverpool. Liverpool come into this game off the back of a disappointing loss at Watford where not only were Liverpool beaten but they were out worked. Liverpool and Klopp have prided themselves on being one of the hardest working teams in the league and last weekend they struggled. With Friminho and Couthino playing more through the center this is a team that has pace and trickery but this time of year the weather is not condusive to the type of ball that they want to play. Liverpool may be better served by playing a big man through the center and I expect either Origi or Benteke to start Saturday but it will be the Liverpool defence that faces it's biggest test of the year against a rampant Leicester City.
Story of the year, maybe story of the decade and probably the story of the Premier League era is Leicester City's current form and all round play. 1,000/1 to be top at Christmas Leicester City have accomplished that, from cellar dwellars to Champions League hopefuls and title contenders, it certainly has been an amazing twelve months for Leicester City and their fans. Jamie Vardy is leading the goal scoring charts, second is Mahrez the enigmatic Leicester winger. Claudio Ranieri took over a team that were favourites for the drop instead they are top of the table and challenging for the title. If Leicester go on to win this title it would be the greatest achievement in Premier League history, better than United's treble season, better than Arsenal's invicibles this team would go down in history as the greatest underdogs of all time. So after all that gushing about Leicester can you guess what my pick is going to be? again the bookmakers have made Leicester underdogs against an inferior team. Last week we took Leicester against Everton and cleaned up we are going all in again this week.
At worst Leicester should be a coinflip here, they are massive underdogs, cant understand it. Take Leicester to win here and fill your post Christmas pockets.
