Liverpool vs Selvilla 18 May 2016: Europa League Final Preview and Predictions

The Europa League has reached the finals and for Liverpool it is a chance for them to forget about their failures in the Premier League and manage to get a spot in the Champions League. Sevilla on the other hand will also feel very confident being the reigning champions two years running so I am sure we are in for a treat.

Liverpool are probably the better team on paper since their players are surely bigger names. The likes of Firmino, Coutinho and Henderson are big name players and they will need to stand up if Liverpool are to win this tournament. In addition to big players, they have a big manager in Klopp who has had success in Europe before and he knows what it takes to win. That being said, he is now with a new club and although Liverpool fans can remember their heroics back in Athens, it has been a while since the Reds have won a major tournament.

Selvilla on the other hand are amazing when it comes to this tournament. They snuck through in 2014, they cruised home in 2015 and this year they are in the final once again. This time around they probably have their hardest opponent so far but I think this team will be up for it. They have done it before and I think they can do it again.

As far as betting is concerned, we are getting over 2.00 for Selvilla to lift the trophy which I think is great value since they are a side who knows how to do it. We should take this offer and also look at the goal line. Both teams love to score and Liverpool have had problems at the back so over 2.5 goals might be a good bet here as well.
