Italian giants Milan are looking to bounce back from a horrific season and will be looking to continue their strong pre season in two games this far they have scored ten goals and conceded just two but they face a must sterner task on Saturday in the form of French side Lyon. Former Sampdoria boss Mijhalovich is in his first few weeks in charge of the Milan team and will be looking for more of the same from Mexes, Menez and Honda. New signing Carlos Bacca may make his debut here on Saturday night but I doubt he will.be risked after coming background fromage international duty at the Copa America. Bacca is a superb signing and exactly what Milan needed an out and out finisher. Niang is back from his loan deal and looks sharp scoring twice in one of the recent friendlies. Milan have options now up front but it will be intwrsting to see if they can gel and play together.
On the other side Lyon have lost both of their pre season games this far and are desperately trying to hold onto star striker Lacazette who is being linked with many clubs throughout Europe. This is a solid Lyon side led by Fekir in midfield and the aformentioned lacazette who is a terrific finisher. With some good young players coming through like N'jie and Labidi this is a side with potential to really go places. With only eleven goals conceded in nineteen games at home Lyom have one of the best home records in Europe.
I am a believer in the new Milan boss I thought he was doing a fantastic job at Sampdoria but was hamstrung with financial issues. This won't be a full transfer market as he is unable to attract some players who are looking for Champions league football but I think he will coach the team well defensively and will get the best out of this group. Take Milan +1 on the handicap.
