After a disappointing return for Pep to the Camp Nou, Manchester City will look to get some pride back as the Etihad Stadium will be honored by Leo Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez and the rest of the Barcelona outfit. This will be a challenge for Manchester City for sure but it will also be a chance for them to show the world that they can compete at the top level and give their manager Pep something to smile about.
Barcelona are as strong away as they are at home but it is important to note that their defense is not always the strongest and against a talented Manchester City outfit, this could cause some problems. At the Camp Nou, this was not a problem at all since Barcelona controlled all the ball but with the home crowd in the North of England, Manchester City might cause some more problems this time around. It will be important for the likes of Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne, Nolito and David Silva to work together and create chance since that will give the hosts a good chance of getting three points of Barcelona.
Barcelona on the other hand will want to win since a win all but guarantees top spot in the group for them. They will know that the likes of John Stones can make mistakes and they will look to take full advantage of that. A big win is unlikely away from home against Manchester City but if Barcelona play to their full potential, anything is possible.
As far as betting is concerned, it is very risky to pick a winner but if I had to I would go for Barcelona but betting on this is not the best idea. The best bet is by far the over 3.5 goals. This is getting a good price and it is a pretty safe bet in my eyes so I am going to take it.
