The teams are back from the international break meaning that the English Premier League will be back in action again weekend. This will be the first game of the season after the transfer window will be closed and it will see Manchester City play host to Liverpool. This is a game between two of the biggest clubs in England so I am expecting a great game.
Liverpool will hope to welcome back Coutinho into the side after his absence due to his transfer saga. The Brazilian midfielder will add creativity and will be a vital part of this side going forward. This game will see Liverpool play away from home which will be a disadvantage for the side since they have not established a good away record so far. That being said, Liverpool did have a big win in their last game against Arsenal and that will give the entire club a lot of confidence.
On the other hand, Manchester City will look to have their first big win of the season. The Sky Blues are looking good this year and they will know that these are the games that they will have to win if they are to challenge for the title at the end of the season. This team has a lot of depth in the squad and they are strong all over the part so as I result I like their chances of winning this game.
As far as betting is concerned, we are not getting a great price on Manchester City to win at home. While this should be a pretty safe bet, I think we should avoid it since the game is not priced well enough to make a long term profit. I think betting on the over 2.5 goals is a much better option considering the weak defense of Liverpool.
