The Round of 16 continues in the Champions League as Manchester City take on French powerhouse Monaco. The First Leg will take place at the Eithihad and this will give the Sky Blues a chance to get settled and gain an advantage before heading to France where they will have to play the second leg of this tie.
Manchester City will be without the services of Gabriel Jesus who is out with injury but lucky for them they can simply ask upon the services of Sergio Aguero who is more than capable. If anything this improves the side and it will give the Argentine striker a chance to show the world once again why he is consider a world class player. Other than that, Manchester City need to sure up their defense and this will be important since not only do they have to win at home but they also have to avoid conceding goals at home because it could cause them problems with the away goal rule especially in the latter stages of this tie.
On the other hand, Monaco will also avoid giving away a big disadvantage and as a result we might not see the free flowing football that we know this team is capable of. As a result of these factors, I am expecting a pretty low scoring game and I am going to say that the under 2.5 goals is the best wager at the moment. We are getting a good price on this bet and as things look with the structure of this game, I think we are very likely of this outcome happening. If you are insintant on placing a wager on the outcome of the game, I am willing to say that the best bet is Manchester City since they are at home and Pep knows how to get the best out of his sides when it comes to big games.
