Manchester City host Sevilla in a must win game for the sky blues and the English Premier League leaders are missing their best player in Sergio Aguero and injuries to David Silva has left Manchester City missing their best players. The summer addition of Kevin De Bruynne and Raheem Sterling have been terrific since coming to the Ethiad and both players are now integral parts of Manchester City's offence. Ya Ya Toure and Vincent Kompany will provide the experience and leadership for Manuel Pelligrini's side in what is going to be a really tough game. Sevilla are no mugs and are going to come to Manchester confident of being able to get a result.
The Sevilla team that won the Europa League is no longer but the one assembled this summer has quality in depth and the additions of Immobile, Llorente, Konoplyanko and Nzonzi has added depth and quality to midfield and they are trying to replace the goals of Bacca with two strikers. Sevilla are a quality team and they play great football, one of the most entertaining games of the year so far was the UEFA Super Cup between Sevilla and Barcelona. Sevilla will come to England and play football they will not be afraid to go at City and I think this is a team that believes they can get a result here.
Given Manchester City's problems in Europe it is difficult to call how this one will go. The Manchester City that show up week in week out in the Premier League is a different team to the one that struggles every time they play in Europe. At this stage it has to be Physcological but I am going to take both teams to score as I just dont trust Manchester City to get a win here at 7/10. Both teams to score looks the value bet to me.
