Manchester City look to close the gap on manchester United when they take on West Ham on Sunday in the early Barclay's Premier League game. Manchester City come into this game in horrific form having lost four of their last five and being well and truly thumped by their cross city rivals last weekend. But if there is any team that can bounce back from adversity to finish a season strong it is Manchester City. With Sergio Aguero, Dzeko, Toure, Jovetich and Silva there is enough attacking talent in this squad to win any game on their day and to be honest West Ham may just be coming up against a City team thatare highly motivated and in much need of a win. Not a great position for a team that have lost three of their last four and are missing their two best goalscorers.
West Ham are strugglign with injuries at the moment and it looks like both Sakho and Carroll may miss out tomorrow, Carroll is a long term absentee but Sakho picked up a knock recently and is doubtful for tomorrows clash. That will leave Enner Valencia as the clubs focal point and the Equadorian striker has had an impressive first season in English football and will relish the chance against Manchester City tomorrow. Nene and Song will pull the strings from midfield and Noble, nolan and Downing will all support Valencia. This is going to be a big ask for big sam and his side but stranger things have happened, especially given how poor Manchester City have been recently.
I am pretty confident we will see a big reaction from Manchester City here after that comprehensive derby defeat. I am going to take Manchester City -1 on the handicap and have a feeling we coul see a big game from Sergio Aguero tomorrow.
