As regards the Premier League this is the game of the weekend Manchester United host Arsenal on Sunday at Old Trafford with United decimated by injury at the moment. Missing fifteen key players from the first team squad Louis Van Gaal will have no alternative but to put out alot of youth players at the weekend. During this injury crisis Memphis Depay has emerged as the terrific talent he is and with young Rashford making his first team debut on Thursday and scoring twice this is going to be a youth effort on Sunday. Its tough to know what way Van Gaal will approach this one. Juan Mata will be the key attackng figure for United I think his vision will be the playform that United's attack is based on and Memphis will have a big say on how successful United will be tomorrow.
Returning to Old Trafford will be Danny Wellbeck, match winner against Leicester on his return from Injury and one of the best young England players in the Premier League of course Wellbeck used to ply his trade with Manchester United and this will be an interesting return. Arsenal are back to almost full fitness and they have fallen five points behind Leicester City who scored a dramatic late winner against Norwich City on Saturday. Arsenal have exited the Champions League more or less after losing the first leg 2-0 to Barcelona so the league will be their major focus. This is a real opportunity for Arsenal and Arsene Wenger, with Giroud, Sanchez, Ramsey , Wellbeck and Walcott there is enough attacking talent here to really hurt Manchester United's youth team.
Simply put just looking at this game on paper it's almost impossible to see anything but an Arsenal win even if the game is in Old Trafford. Manchester United's injuries look too numerous to be able to compete with an Arsenal team that are at the top of the league battling for a title. Louis Van Gaal has been very unlucky with injuries this year but tactically I think he has done ok when he has been limited with options. While Old Trafford crowd may not like it I think he sets up looking for a point tomorrow. United though are good on the counter attack and they have shown in recent games an ability to fight in tight games, they may be out matched here but I think they put in a good performance. I am going to take the overs on Manchester United corners as the line is at 6 which I believe is low especially given United's recent performances where they have had 14, 8, 11, 7 and 8 respectively.
