In the English Premier League, Manchester United are set to host Burnley at Old Trafford.
Manchester United have been in exceptional form since sacking Jose Mourinho. Since the arrival of the new manager, Manchester United have an unbeaten record and are looking like one of the strongest teams in the competition. In their last outing, Manchester United beat Arsenal in the FA Cup. It was a very strong performance by the Red Devils as the team defended very well to win while having only 37% of the possession. Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez all scored for Manchester United to ensure the team continued its winning ways. Manchester United are only 4 points away from 4th spot on the ladder so the team should be very motivated considering their target is within sight.
On the other side of the coin, Burnley suffered a big loss in their last game as they were beaten 5-0 by Manchester City. It was a very tough match for Burnley as they had only 25% of the ball while managing no shots on target. Burnley allowed Manchester City to complete over 900 passes which shows how one-sided the game was. It is going to be tough for Burnley to bounce back strongly as they are playing against a very strong Manchester United team away from home.
Burnley hosted Manchester United earlier in the season. On that occasion, it was a very one-sided game which Manchester United won 2-0.
Taking everything into consideration, I am going to pick Manchester United to win this match. Burnley look in awful form having just lost while the Red Devils are playing incredible football. Manchester United have the better players, are in better form and are at home. With that in mind, I see Manchester United winning with some ease.
