The Line: Juventus +140 / Draw +230 / Manchester United +230 -- Over/Under: 2.5
Manchester United will be hosting Juventus at Old Trafford for a match in the UEFA Champions League.
This match is all about Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford. The Manchester United fans will be waiting to greet their former hero who is now considered one of the greatest of all time. Juventus enter this match in exceptional form as they are top of Serie A and remain unbeaten this season. Both the attack and defense are playing well for Juventus as they have only conceded 6 goals while scoring 19 times this season. Juventus are currently at the top of this group in the Champions League having won both of their games. A win at Old Trafford will almost secure qualification meaning Allegri and his men will know the importance of a victory. In the past few games, the likes of Ronaldo and Dybala have found their scoring form the Italian side will be very optimistic heading into this match.
On the other side of the coin, things are not looking good for Manchester United. The Red Devils played well against Chelsea over the weekend but considering they are 10th on the ladder, things must improve. Losing this match could potentially push Manchester United out of the top 2 in this Champions League group and with their next match away from home in Italy, it will be essential that the Red Devils don’t lose. The defense has been the biggest problem for Manchester United this season 16 goals in only 9 Premier League games. With Ronaldo, Dybala and Douglas Costa all playing for the opposition, it is hard to see how Manchester United will stop Juventus from scoring.
This should be an exceptional game as both Juventus and Manchester United have incredible players. I am picking Juventus to win this match. While Juventus are away from home, they are playing much better football when compared to their opponents. With Ronaldo being charged up for his Old Trafford homecoming, I see Juventus being too strong for Manchester United.
