In the English Premier League, Manchester United will host Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Leicester City have had a very strong start to the season as they currently have 8 points and remain unbeaten. In their previous outing, Leicester City defeated Bournemouth 3-1 at home. It was an impressive display by the Foxes as they controlled 55% of the possession which allowed them to have 15 shots. Jamie Vardy continued his impressive form by scoring 2 goals for the Foxes. Youri Tielemans was also very impressive as he scored the second goal for Leicester City. The Foxes have managed good results against teams like Wolves and Chelsea so they will be confident as they head to Old Trafford.
Looking at Manchester United, things have been very shaky at for the Red Devils as they have only won 1 match all season. In their last game, Manchester United only managed a draw away from home at Southampton. It was especially disappointing since Manchester United since the Saints were reduced to 10 men for much of the second half. On a positive note, Daniel James has continued his impressive form as he scored during the match at Southampton. It seems like Manchester United are lacking a striker as they have been creating chances but failing to convert them into goals. During their previous match, Manchester United had 21 shots but only 8 were on target. This is a big match for Manchester United as the fans are getting frustrated at the lack of success the team has had.
Manchester United and Leicester City last played each other in February when the Red Devils won 1-0.
Manchester United have the stronger side but I don’t see them winning as they are lacking form and confidence. Looking at the forms of the two teams, I see this match ending as a draw. Leicester City are the weaker side but they look confident and while winning seems unlikely, they should be good enough to get a point.
