Game of the weekend in England will see Manchester United take on Manchester City in what should be a terrific game of football. The Manchester Derby has become one of the biggest games in England with the reemergence of Manchester City over the last ten years, Manuel Pelligrini's side are coming into this game with great form having won their last four in all competitions but with serious injuries to Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Samir Nasri City are still winning. Raheem Sterling, Wilfred Bony and Kevin De Bruyne were immense over the last couple of weeks. De Bruyne saved City's blushes midweek with a late strike against Sevilla and will be a key man if the Citizens are going to come away from Old Trafford with all three points. Raheem Sterling has moved from Manchester United's former biggest rival to arguably their current biggest rival and the United fans will let him know all about it tomorrow. The last of the trio though Wilfred Bony might be the most important player for City tomorrow as they really need a striker to hold up the ball and bring their pacey wingers into the game along with being an able foil for Ya Ya Toure, Bony is getting the chance while the brilliant Aguero is sidelined and will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure.
Manchester United are coming into this game after a tough game in Russia against a good CSKA team, United were not very good midweek but played their best football of the season last weekend when beating Everton 3-0 in Goodison Park. Coming back to the friendly friendly confines of Old Trafford the red devils will be looking to get a win that would signify their readyness to compete for the League title. Louis Van Gaal will look to keep the team fresh but consistant and I think Herrerra, Rooney and Martial are all going to start, Mata and Schneiderlein will also be key and I think the back line picks itself at this point. Schweinsteiger may start but he struggled at Arsenal and Van Gaal is not shy on letting his players know of his expectations. This is a good side though solid and will be really up for this game.
While quite often these games between the top sides end up being 0-0 I think this derby will be different , I really fancy the overs here as I think these two have an abundance of attacking talent and I think both sides have defensive frailties. The overs are what I am taking and in fact I am going for over 3 here at decent odds. I have a feeling the red half of Manchester could be celebrating a significant win but either way goals are whats on the cards in my opinion.
