Minnesota United vs Seattle Sounders - 8/4/18 MLS Soccer Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Minnesota United will be at home this weekend as they prepare to play their next game in the MLS at the TCF Bank Stadium. The home side will play against another team from the Western Conference in the form of the Seattle Sounders. This is a big game for both sides since the two teams are in the same conference and there are only 2 points between them in the standings so there is plenty to play for in this fixture.

Minnesota United had their unbeaten streak end in their last MLS fixture as they were beaten badly by the Vancouver Whitecaps away from home. The win would have slowed the team down but the confidence should still be high within the players since the team has been in great form and playing very good soccer. This will be a good opportunity for the team to get some points at home. At home, the Minnesota United players have played much better than when away so I am expecting a very strong performance from the home side.

On the other side of the coin, the Seattle Sounders will see this as a great chance to move up the ladder. The away team is stacked with good players and although the team has underperformed this season, the quality is still there. The Seattle Sounders have not lost in more than one month and are looking very good. This was displayed exceptionally well as they beat a very high-level side in NYCFC at home in the last round. This will be a challenge since the game is played in Minnesota but I am expecting the visitors to be more than good enough to win.

All in all, I am predicting the Seattle Sounders to win. They have the better players and have been in really good form in recent times. We are getting an exceptionally good price to wager on the Sounders winning so that is the bet which I am going to suggest.

Pick:
Seattle Sounders
