Minnesota United vs Toronto FC - 7/4/18 MLS Soccer Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Gerry Angus-USA TODAY Sports

Minnesota United will be in action in the MLS as the team takes on Toronto FC. The Minnesota United will be at home for this game as it will take place at the TCF Bank Stadium. Both sides will be desperate to get three points so we should be able to watch a great game of soccer.

This season seems to be getting worse every game for Toronto FC. The Canadian side lost at home last weekend to the New York Red Bulls and it seems like the side is destined for the bottom spot on the Eastern Conference. This has been a very unusual and unexpected season for Toronto FC since the side is filled with great players who have performed and delivered results for the team is previous years. This season might make the end of an era for this group of players and managers at Toronto FC since it has been very disappointing to see how the team has performed.

On the other side of the coin, Minnesota United have not done much better. The hosts are near the bottom of the Western Conference and it is hard to see them making the playoffs this season. This team has not won an MLS game for over a month and it seems like there are big issues at the club. Having said that, Toronto FC visiting has come at the perfect time for Minnesota United since this is the best chance the hosts will have of breaking their losing streak.

Taking everything into consideration, I am going to predict that Minnesota United will win this game. Neither side is playing well but Minnesota United still look like a side that care while Toronto FC look a side that has given up. In addition to that, Minnesota United will be at home for this game which is another big advantage. As far as betting is concerned, we are getting a pretty good price to wager on Minnesota United to win. While this is not the best bet I have seen, it is good enough to place any sized wager on. I don’t expect this bet to lose too often simply because Toronto FC look like they have no chance of winning at the moment.
