Monaco vs Juventus 3 May 2017: UCL Preview and Predictions

The second semi-final will take place in the lovely Monte Carlo as Monaco take on Italian Champions, Juventus, in what should be a great game to watch. The French side are playing with no pressure whatsoever while a lot is expected of Juventus so we should be in for quite a treat.

Monaco are a great attacking side managing to score many goals in this tournament so far. That being said, this is going to be their toughest challenge yet since they will be up against an excellent defensive unit of Juventus. This will make things hard for them and I think that they will fail to score. The likes of Buffon, Chellini, Bonucci and Dani Alves have a lot of experience as well at this level and that will all come in handy as they will definitely have the upper hand in this particular battle.

For Juventus, they have a great attacking side and Monaco have had defensive issues that was shown in their outing with both Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City. I think the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala will have field days and things could get bad for the French side. Furthermore, I think the midfield battle is also won by Juventus since the likes of Khedira and Pjanic will be too much to handle for the team from the South of France.

I am picking Juventus to win this game and betting wise we are getting a pretty good odd to make this a profitable play. Other than that, both teams not to score is also a good bet since I don’t think that this Juventus defense will be broken down.
