Monaco host Montpellier tonight in a game that is catch up on the game that was cancelled a couple of months ago. Monaco can move level on points with Marseille witha win here and the team from the principality have definite momentum behind them as they look to get themselves up to the Champions League qualification spots. Mouthino and Berbatov have been terrific this season for Monaco and both were inspirational in defeating Arsenal in the last 16 of the Champions League. Martial has been the emerging player of the year and I think the young Frenchman looks like a player that any team could build their future around. The return of former Chelsea defender Carvaho to the defence will strenghten the best defence in France.
Montpellier come into this game having won three of their last five but all three wins were at home. Led by Barrios up front who has eleven goals on the season and Mounier who has seven, this is a good team who have proven themselves to be tough to beat. Montpellier have failed to score in four of their last five away games though and all four have gone under 2.5 goals. They face a Monaco team that are the kings of the unders with Monaco games going under in twenty one of their last twenty five home games.
The unders looks to me to be the way to go here. Monaco at 3/5 just dont seem value and while the draw appeals I do think that Monaco should sneak this one tonight. There is value in the unders as three of the last five Monaco games have actually uncharacteristically gone over. Take the unders and cash an early winner on Tuesday.
