Napoli vs Villareal 25 Feb 2016: Europa League Preview and Predictions

Napoli are in a little bit of trouble as they head into the second leg of the their Europa League knockout stage against Spanish side Villareal. They are trailing by one goal and don’t have an away goal but nevertheless they are at home this weekend and they will hope that their home crowd can get them over the line.

Napoli are coming off a home draw against AC Milan and that was somewhat of a disappointment to them since they should have won that game. That being said, this is a good side and the players will be confident that they can come back strong and get through here. This team has a lot of talent and I see them as one of the best teams in Europe so I expect the Spaniards to be facing a storm here.

Villareal on the other hand will be looking at their one goal lead and will be aware that a draw will be enough. They will know a win here is near impossible and that will probably influence them to play for the draw. This team is not as good as their opponents on paper and I think they will struggle here and I think they will lose by 2 or 3 goals which will cause them to get eliminated.

As far as betting is concerned, I think that the best option is to bet on the goal line. We are not getting a good price on Napoli and I think that handicap price is also not good enough. The goal line on the other hand is two ways so we have value. Napoli will score more than 2.5 on their own in my opinion so taking the over is the best bet in my opinion for this game.
