Newcastle United will be at home at St James Park as they take on Swansea in the next game in the English Premier League. Both sides will want to get a win from this fixture as they are competing against each other when it comes to the relegation battle.

Newcastle United are not looking very good and I think they are relying on January purchases to get their season back on track. That has not happened yet and as a result, there is not a lot of positivity around the Magpies squad. This weekend they will take on Swansea in a game that they will be expecting to win since it is a much needed three points.

On the other side of the coin, Swansea are not looking very good either. The players that were added during the summer have not clicked and the overall team is not doing well. A win is very important for the Swans since relegation is very likely at the moment. This side is at the bottom of the table and they will be desperate to win this game since it can get them out of 20th spot.

With all that in mind, I am going to predict that Newcastle United will win this game. The Magpies are the better side and even though they are not playing well, Swansea are playing worse. In addition to that, Newcastle United are at home. We are getting a good price on Newcastle to win this game and as a result, that is the best option in my opinion. I also like the under 2.5 goals since neither team can score many goals at the moment.
