Newcastle United must win to be guaranteed survival, they play a West Ham United team that were given the week off by manager Sam Allardyce as the season winds down. West Ham have been up and down all season, with the talent in the West ham squad this season has been a real disappointment. Sam Allardyce the former newcastle manager is the current West Ham manager but rumour has it that big Sam will not be coming back next season, we should know early next week about his future. what we know right now though is that Sakho, Valencia and Song have a chance to put themselves in the shop window for the last game of the season and I think all three may be eager to move in the summer.
Newcastle United need three points to be safe. A draw here and a win for Hull would relegate Newcastle United and to be honest Newcastle probably deserve to be relegate, having lost nine of their last ten Newcastle have been dreadful and under John Carver the magpies have lacked creativity and goals. With Papa Cisse missing eight games through suspension Newcastle really struggled to score failing to do so on four of those eight games. Reveillere and Ayoze have at times looked decent up front but Newcastle have just not been able to find the net enough. It all could come down to this game if Hull can get a win at home so will Newcastle be able to get the win they need to survive?
I think West Ham have already gone on holiday mentally and while newcastle have been really really bad under John Carver I think they will do enough here to get a result that saves them. Look for Newcastle to sneak out a win here in front of a passionate home crowd.
