Norwich City host Aston Villa at Carrow Road with both teams eager to get three points in their battle against relegation. The Canaries have played well in recent games but struggled last time out against Tottenham as Spurs destroyed them in a dominant display on boxing day. Norwich manager Alex Neil will look to his key players Brady, Hoolohan, Jerome and Redmond to open up a terrible Aston Villa defence. Norwich need to score more goals their struggles in front of the net has been the key problem for Norwich and if they manage a win here they could jump to fourteenth in the table if results went their way.
Aston Villa manager Remi Garde said before the game on Boxing day that his team must win ten games to survive, thats a big ask with just twenty games left but Garde is correct with his match, to survive the Villans are going to have to produce something special. At the weekend against West Ham , Aston Villa struggled for long periods but managed to get a penalty to level things up, once they did they dominated possession and should have won the game but they like Norwich are lacking a qulity finisher.
This one looks set to be a tactical battle between two defensively minded teams, while I know Aston Villa need the wins I think that a draw here is the most likely result as both of these defences have advantages over their opposition's attack. Take the draw for the min bet.
