The Orlando City SC and Real Salt Lake open the MLS season Sunday at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.

The Orlando City SC enter their second season in the MLS after finishing with a decent 12-14-8 record. The Orlando City SC have some interesting offensive talent that could make some noise this season in the wide open Eastern Conference. Cyle Larin returns after leading Orlando with 17 goals, Kaká had seven assists and Carlos Rivas has 63 shots. Defensively, the Orlando City SC will be led by a trio of goalkeepers including Joe Bendik, Earl Edwards Jr. and Mason Stajduhar. Orlando has to improve defensively after allowing 56 goals. The Orlando City SC have won their last three regular season home games.

The Real Salt Lake hope to return to the playoffs after a disappointing 11-15-8 record last season. The Real Salt Lake ended a seven-year playoff streak after losing three of their last four games. Javier Morales returns after leading Real Salt Lake with eight goals, Joao Plata had four assists and Olmes Garcia had 32 shots. The Real Salt Lake really struggled on the offensive end last season, scoring just 38 goals in 34 games. Defensively, Nick Rimando will lead the way at goalkeeper after pitching eight shutouts and producing 66 saves. The Real Salt Lake have lost 10 of their last 12 regular season road games.

The only match between these two teams took place in July and ended in a 1-1 draw.

Orlando was solid last season for its first season in the league, and a 1-2 punch of Larin and Kaka has the potential to takeover games. The Real Salt Lake was also downright brutal on the road last season.

I like Orlando to start its second season with a victory.
